Bakersfield College is a suburban community college attended by over seventeen-thousand students. During these two days, thousands of students will pass by our banners and man will see for the first time the reality of “choice.” Our team will be answering objections, presenting a sound case for life, and sharing the gospel of our Lord. Both pro-life and pro-choice students will be challenged by the images and information presented.
Last week, Dianna Agron, who plays the cheerleader turned pop choral singer Quinn Fabray on Fox’s hit TV show Glee, spoke in San Francisco at the NARAL Pro-Choice America “Power of Choice” luncheon. Agron is using her TV fame to advocate the organization’s agenda to promote abortion among young people. The young actress stresses that pro-life efforts to close local abortion facilities, introduce waiting periods, promote informed choice, and require parental consent have severely hampered access to abortion. She asks, “But do we really have the right to choose if there are so many obstacles in accessing reproductive healthcare in so many states across the country? This is the question facing my generation…”
